1. Liability
CoreSpan Academy provides training services, lab access, and related materials on an as-is basis to the maximum extent permitted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Except where prohibited by applicable law, CoreSpan Academy and its instructors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in programs, including loss of profits, goodwill, or data. Direct damages, where liability cannot be excluded, shall be limited to the fees you paid for the specific offering giving rise to the claim during the six months preceding the event. You acknowledge that mainframe environments differ widely and that guidance offered in class must be validated against your internal change management and quality standards before production use. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory protections that Korean consumer protection statutes afford to individual consumers acting outside a commercial context.
2. User obligations
You agree to provide accurate registration information, safeguard credentials issued for lab systems, and refrain from introducing malicious code, unauthorized scanning, or attempts to pivot from lab partitions to external networks. Participants must follow facilitator instructions, respect intellectual property restrictions on materials, and avoid recording sessions unless written permission is granted. Enterprise cohorts remain responsible for ensuring that attendees are authorized to receive export-controlled or vendor-restricted information. You must not misrepresent affiliation with CoreSpan Academy or use deliverables to imply endorsement by unrelated organizations. Violations may result in immediate removal from programs without refund where misconduct materially breaches these obligations.
3. Intellectual property
All curricula, lab scenarios, templates, and branding assets remain the property of CoreSpan Academy or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use materials for internal learning within your organization during the subscription or cohort period unless a separate enterprise license specifies broader terms. You may not resell, publicly redistribute, or host materials on open repositories without written consent. Feedback you provide may be used to improve services without obligation of compensation, provided it does not include your confidential information marked in writing. Third-party trademarks referenced in courses belong to their respective owners and appear for descriptive purposes only.
4. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would apply another jurisdiction. Courts located in Seoul shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these terms, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer to bring claims in your place of residence. If a provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in force. CoreSpan Academy may assign its rights to a successor entity that assumes service delivery obligations. You may not assign your rights without prior written consent except as part of a bona fide corporate reorganization that does not reduce your obligations hereunder.
5. Termination
Either party may terminate enrollment for material breach after written notice and a reasonable cure period where cure is feasible. CoreSpan Academy may suspend access immediately for security incidents, abusive conduct, or legal compulsion. Upon termination, your right to use digital materials ceases except for copies reasonably retained for compliance archives. Sections addressing liability, intellectual property, governing law, and dispute resolution survive termination. If termination results from CoreSpan Academy’s uncured breach, your exclusive remedy is a prorated refund for unused portions of prepaid services, processed under the Refund & Cancellation policy.
